Beulah’s Buttermilk Pie

  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 1 ¾ cup sugar
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon grated lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup Borden 1% Low Fat Buttermilk
  • 10 inch unbaked pie crust


Preheat oven to 350 F. Beat butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs, lemon zest and vanilla. Mix in flour and Borden 1% Low Fat Buttermilk then beat until smooth. Pour mixture into pie crust and bake for approximately 25 minutes or until pie has lightly browned and the center is set. Let pie cool to room temperature and serve with Borden’s Perfectly Rich Whipped Cream.
